BioCor® emitters operate using the VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) method, thereby providing effective and reliable protection against corrosion for metal workpieces and components. They are particularly easy to use: the VCI emitter is simply placed in the area to be protected, which is then sealed tightly. The inhibitors are then released, forming an invisible protective layer around the metal and thereby preventing it from reacting with air and moisture. Once unpacked, the VCI evaporates without leaving any residue. This means that the packaged workpiece can be reused immediately without the need for additional cleaning.
