How does the protection work?
BioCor® PowerCards work according to the VCI method. VCI stands for Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor. These inhibitors are released within closed packaging and wrap themselves around like an invisible protective cover, that prevents the metal from reacting with air and moisture. After unpacking, the VCI evaporates without leaving any residue. This means that the packed item can be used directly without additional cleaning.

The BioCor® PowerCard is a compact, ultra-slim VCI dispenser made of plastic. Thanks to its minimal thickness, it is particularly suitable for corrosion protection in tight and hard-to-reach spaces. The VCI active ingredients are effectively distributed throughout the entire packaging space, ensuring reliable protection of metal parts and components against corrosion.
If necessary, the BioCor® PowerCard can be added to existing protective atmospheres to increase the VCI concentration.
